North American wolf - Duma

Duma is the perfect ambassador wolf; she is calm, tolerant, amenable and adaptable. Above all she loves her work. Now in her twelfth year she is still a beautiful, photogenic wolf. She rules over Dakota, her sister, in a calm, assertive manner and the pack is stable and content due to her excellent leadership. That’s not to say she can’t get riled though. The two Canadian females Mosi and Mai are seen as arch-enemies and Duma never passes up the chance of a bit of fence-running and impressive dominance displays towards them. This is shown by raised hackles, a low growl and intent stare when they walk by. In Duma’s eyes she is the top female on site.
