FAQ
Q. I am in the area tomorrow/next week, can I come and see the wolves?
A. No. Visits are restricted to members on given dates, and there can be a waiting list even for members. Alternatively you can call the office to find out about booking an exclusive visit.
Q. Is the Trust open to the public?
A. No. The Trust has a Dangerous Wild Animals license at present which does not permit it to operate like a zoo.
Q. Can I visit the wolf I am adopting or do I have to become a member of the Trust?
A. You would have to become a member. Adoption is one of the added extras for our members, but it is offered separately for those who live abroad or further away and unable to visit us. Supporters can adopt a wolf of their choice. Adoptions are also great gifts which is another reason why they are offered individually. If you wish to visit your adopted wolf you will need to become either a 'Walking' or 'Visiting' member which costs from £25 per year (see Membership & Adoption).
Q. Can I join the UK Wolf Conservation Trust using e-mail and a credit card?
A. Yes, we accept credit card or cheque.
Q. Can I buy merchandise over the Internet?
A. For merchandise please visit our ONLINE SHOP
Q. I sent off my adoption/membership/renewal/ application some time ago and I have't heard anything. What should I do?
A. If you think that your application has gone astray please feel free to e-mail or contact the office directly on 0118 9713 330
Q. I run a wolf related website, can I link to yours?
A. Please link to http://www.ukwolf.org/ and tell us who you are by e-mailing our webmaster at ukwolf.org so that we can consider you for a reciprocal link.
Q. I am looking for internship or other employment within the UK Wolf Conservation Trust, How do I go about it?
A. Please send us a resume/CV. We are always looking for new volunteers to help with the general running of the Trust.
